Although freedom has many definitions, freedom from self-judgment is the most important of all. Each of us has an inner critical voice that discounts shames and threatens our very existence and choice of life. We also project our inner beliefs about self onto others with equal judgment. The journey towards freedom from self-judgment begins with the sensitivity of how parts of our ego feel the illusion of power by judging other parts of our ego.
