Projection is a verbal or nonverbal attribution of our own beliefs, feelings and attitudes to others. It often creates conflict and shame because we assign our perceptions and behaviors to others without acknowledgment of the process or dialogue to clarify anothers' perceptions. In this class we will learn to become aware of our own projections and be sensitive when others are projecting on us. We will learn to take ownership of our own perceptions and engage others with open and sincere communications. March 2012
