As needy and innocent children, we soon learned the power of compliance and defiance to create the illusion of power and individualization. Because we were naive, we did not understand that either of these two extremes actually created loyalty that limited and confined us to the values of our parents. This class will allow participant to revisit their early experiences of these control dramas so that we might renegotiate new beliefs with our ego and create our own values for self-respect. Participants will leave this class with powerful tools that move us from tyranny to liberation within self.
